Future Fund extends director appointments

The Future Fund has extended the appointments of two board members, Carolyn Kay and Jane Wilson.

Both were appointed to five-year terms to the sovereign wealth fund's board of guardians in 2015. Kay has had her term extended by three years. Wilson's term has been extended by a year.

"Ms Kay and Dr Wilson...served with distinction during their first term. Their reappointments will ensure the Board continues to benefit from their significant experience and expertise across financial markets, corporate governance and public policy," said Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg.

In addition to her significant director experience at Scentre Group and the Australia-China Council, Kay has had executive experience at Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, and Linklaters in New York, London, and Melbourne.
