FTSE Russell appoints Head of Business Development Aus & NZ

FTSE Russell has confirmed to Industry Moves the promotion of Mo El Assaad as head of business development Australia & New Zealand at FTSE Russell, effective March 2018.

In this role, he is responsible for driving the growth of FTSE Russell, and now the Citi Fixed Income index in Australia and New Zealand.

El Assaad first joined FTSE Russell in August 2014 as a national business development manager. Prior to this, he spent 9 years in various distribution roles within NAB and MLC.

Commenting on his promotion, El Assaad said to Industry Moves: "The sophistication of index instruments, and the commercial efficiencies they bring to Asset Owners, have influenced investment objectives globally.
