Frontier appoints Senior Consultant as one of five new hires

Frontier Advisors has announced the appointment of Paul Tulloch as a senior consultant in the firm's alternatives and derivatives research team.

Tulloch joins Frontier after eight years as a derivatives trader with Optiver, based in Sydney and more recently Amsterdam. Frontier said that Tulloch's experience with exchange-traded options, warrants and futures will extend the work in this field already being undertaken by the firm.

Tulloch will be joined in the team by new associate Donna Davis, who previously worked at AustralianSuper, Commonwealth Bank, and ANZ Bank.

Tulloch & Davis are two of five new hires at Frontier this month. Iain McMahon, who previously worked at J.P. Morgan's London office, has been appointed as a consultant in the debt and currency team; Ann Tran, with a background in economic research, will join the capital markets and asset allocation team; and Thushani de Silva, formerly of Zenith Investment Partners, Capital Alliance and PwC, will move into a client facing advisory role.

Commenting on the expanding team, Frontier Advisors CEO, Andrew Polson, said: "We've been recruiting for some time and it's quite exciting to be able to bring a significant number of highly credentialled people in to the business."

Frontier flagged in January 2019 that it will also be appointing a new director of sector research. The firm expects to make this announcement soon.
