Franklin Templeton appoints Institutional Sales Director

Franklin Templeton Investments Australia has appointed Christina Manonian as institutional sales director, based in Melbourne.

In this role, Manonian will report to managing director, Maria Wilton, and be responsible for delivering the firm's range of investment capabilities to institutional investors across Australia and New Zealand.

Manonian returns to Australia from Franklin Templeton's California headquarters, where she spent two years as vice president, global consultant relations.

She joined Franklin Templeton in 2003, and previously held roles in Australia, which included responsibility for relationships with global and local asset consulting firms, as well as cross-border distribution partners in the Asia Pacific region.

Commenting on her return, Wilton said: "We are pleased to have Christina return to the Australian business to continue the growth of our well-established institutional business. Christina's robust track record of building relationships with clients and asset consultants, alongside her deep knowledge of the Australian investment environment, will be a strong addition to the business. The Australian team is excited to welcome her back."
