Francis Dannaher appointed to the board of ACS

Francis Dannaher has been appointed to the board of the Australian Catholic Super and Retirement Fund (ACS) as an employee representative. Dannahar has over 20 years' experience in superannuation administration, accounting, member communications/education and investment, with positions at State Government Superannuation and CSR Limited Superannuation Funds between 1969 and 1992. He was also CSR Limited's appointee to the ASFA Reporting and Taxation sub-committees from 1988 to 1992, and spent 20 years as head of financial management for the Catholic Education Office Sydney from 1994 to 2014.

Dannaher's current or recent directorships include: member of the Catholic Education Office Sydney (CEO) Finance Committee (1994-2014); member of CEO's Financial Sevices/Human Resources Committee (1994-2014); and member of CEO's Financial Services /IT Committee (1996-2010); director of East Sydney High School (October 2014 - present); and alternate director, NGS Super (2004-2014).

Dannaher is one of four new directors appointed to ACS in July 2015.
