Four new hires for FIIG's institutional fixed income team

FIIG Securities (FIIG) has announced the appointment of Chris Williams as a director and one of four new additions to the firm's institutional fixed income team.

In this role, Williams will focus on building out FIIG's engagement with institutional investors, bank balance sheets and ADIs, the firm said.

Williams has more than 20 years' experience in financial markets and most recently worked within the institutional sales business of The Australian Bond Exchange. Before this, he spent 10 years as a credit trader at NAB.

He will be joined at FIIG by newly-appointed fellow directors, Michael Clout and Emily Boden, and associate director, Zhongni Filipovic.

FIIG's head of institutional fixed income, Mark Bayley, said the new hires "will significantly enhance the breadth and depth of FIIG's institutional fixed income offering, driving opportunities for our clients and supporting FIIG's strategic growth plans in the institutional sector."
