Former Total Financial Solutions CEO joins Chase Corporate Advisory

Chase Corporate Advisory has confirmed the appointment of Marcelo Fernandez as executive director - Melbourne, effective 15 January 2018.

In this role, Fernandez is responsible for building up the Melbourne practice alongside David Fagan, chair of the advisory board.

Most recently, Fernandez was the CEO of Total Financial Solutions (TFS), a role he held from January 2015 until January 2017. Prior to this, he was the chief financial officer and deputy CEO at TFS.

Commenting on his appointment at Chase Corporate Advisory, Fernandez said: "The opportunity to join the Chase team arose from a desire by Jeff Singh to expand into the Melbourne market and duplicate the success that has been achieved in Sydney market."

"My overall responsibilities will be to provide our clients with expert advice and services to allow them to make informed decisions on often complex M&A transactions. With our main areas of expertise in Financial Planning, Accounting and Funds Management we are well placed to seize on the significant opportunities that an expansion into the Melbourne market can bring."
