Former Renaissance portfolio manager co-founds new boutique

Gary Rollo has confirmed to Industry Moves his new role as a co-founder and chief investment officer at MHOR Asset Management (MHOR), a newly established boutique investment management firm that specialises in Australian and New Zealand small caps.

Prior to founding MHOR with James Spenceley, Rollo spent six years as a portfolio manager with Renaissance Asset Management and before that worked in London for Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan as an equity analyst focussing on the European Technology sector.

Commenting on the new venture Rollo said: "I commenced with James full time on the set up at MHOR from June 1. We have managed to get the first fund to market thanks to some of the uber smart people at EQT and Mainstream BPO who all moved at such great pace".
