Former Partner re-joins Grant Thornton

Grant Thornton Australia has announced that Chris Watson has re-joined its firm as a financial advisory and forensic consulting partner.

Watson first joined the firm in 2011, as a forensic & investigation services partner, before departing in 2014. He returned to the Brisbane office this month.

Watson previously spent 12 years in the City of London Police where, as a detective in the crime scene investigation unit, he was responsible for building the computer crime unit. In Australia, he has worked for both big 4 and mid-tier forensic practices as well as acting in a risk and compliance role in the oil and gas sector.
