Former MIESF CIO joins Vanguard

Vanguard Australia has confirmed the appointment of Mary McLaughlin as a senior investment specialist, effective May 2017.

In this role, McLaughlin works with the firm's product team to provide insights into Vanguard's equities investment solutions for clients, working closely with Vanguard's equity index group and quantitative equity group.

McLaughlin was most recently the chief investment officer at Meat Industry Employees' Superannuation Fund (MIESF), before departing the fund on 3 February 2017 following three and a half years in the role.
