Assurance, tax and advisory firm, Grant Thornton, has announced the appointment of Edward (Ned) Draydon as partner & national head of private wealth, effective July 2017.
In this role, Draydon will lead Grant Thornton's national private wealth practice, seeking to grow the service offering.
Draydon was most recently a client director - Queensland with Myer Family Company, a role that he left in June 2017 following five years with the firm.
Commenting on his appointment at Grant Thornton, CEO, Greg Keith, said: "Ned brings to Grant Thornton comprehensive knowledge of investment markets and products and has more than 18 years' experience working in multi-family offices as well as investment banks, including the Myer Family Company, Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs JB Were."
