Former Mercer Practice Leader founds boutique

Yolanda Beattie, former practice leader for learning & inclusion at Mercer, has founded Yo&Co, a boutique consultancy that works with organisations to cultivate "humanity at work" by embracing inclusion, diversity and mindfulness.

Commenting on the venture, Beattie said: "We help organisations create more open, adaptive and connected workplaces through compelling ideas, important conversations and learning experiences."

Beattie is also currently working with the investment management industry on Future IM/Pact, an integrated campaign to attract more diverse talent within investment teams.

Beattie first joined Mercer as the firm's diversity and inclusion practice leader in February 2016 before moving into her most recent role in January 2018. Prior to this, she held several corporate affairs, communications and marketing roles at firms including Macquarie Group, IAG and Honner Media. She also spent three years as the strategy and engagement executive manager at the Workplace Gender Equality Agency.
