Former HESTA CEO appointed TelstraSuper Chair

TelstraSuper has announced the appointment of Anne-Marie Corboy as the $21 billion fund's incoming chair, effective July 2019.

Corboy previously spent 16 years as chief executive officer of HESTA super fund, before stepping down in February 2015.

She also spent 30 years as a board director for organisations including Utilities of Australia, Victorian Superannuation Board, Australian Council for Superannuation Investors, Industry Super Australia (ISA) and Women in Super. Currently, she serves as a director of Bank Australia, Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation and Australian Commonwealth Games Foundation.

In welcoming Corboy, TelstraSuper CEO Chris Davies said: "Anne-Marie has vast experience to share with TelstraSuper, we look forward to working with her to get the best possible outcomes for TelstraSuper members."

Corboy will replace outgoing chair David Leggo.
