Regal Funds Management has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of Deepan Pavendranathan as head of events and trading for Australia and Asia, effective February 2018.
In this newly-created role, Pavendranathan will be based in Sydney and report to chief investment officer, Phil King.
Pavendranathan was most recently the managing director, head of portfolio trading at Goldman Sachs. During his eight years with the firm he was responsible for covering client risk pricing, risk basket offering and portfolio strategies for the APAC market, as well as derivatives market making in Australia.
