Former Class Super chief joins fintech board

Rajarshi Ray, the former chief executive officer for Class Super and director of small business services for American Express, has joined the board of fintech Kyckr.

Founded in 2007 in Ireland, the ASX-listed Kyckr is a global business register to help businesses adhere to anti-money laundering regulations.

"Raj brings unparalleled industry experience in financial services, people and technology to Kyckr that will be invaluable for the business as we deliver on our growth strategy," said the organisation's chair Benny Higgins.

Ray started his career in tech as a mainframe engineer for NEC and moved into finance as an associate with PwC in the mid-90s. He held several global roles with American Express before moving into superannuation with Class as CEO in 2009.
