Former Challenger exec joins CQS Australia

CQS, a credit-focused asset manager with US$12bn in FUM, has appointed Louise Watson as head of distribution for its Australian business.

In this role, Watson will be responsible for all aspects of the distribution of CQS' investment capability.

She joins the firm from Challenger in Sydney, where she was responsible for the institutional distribution of boutique fund managers. Prior to that, she managed a wide range of distribution client relationships at Aberdeen Asset Management, Credit Suisse and, previously, within the investment bank division of JPMorgan in London and San Francisco.
