Former Calastone exec joins managedaccounts.com.au

Australian managed discretionary account (MDA) provider, managedaccounts.com.au, has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of Tony Nejasmic as head of distribution and marketing, effective 29 May 2017.

Nejasmic has over 20 years' distribution and sales experience within the platform, managed accounts, industry fund and AFSL licensee markets. He was most recently a business development director at Calastone, a role that he held for 18 months.

Prior to this, he spent 15 years working at Macquarie Bank in a number of roles, including as division director. In this role, he was responsible for the distribution of the Macquarie Managed Account platform. Previous to Macquarie, he spent time at both Asgard and Count Financial Group in similar sales roles.

Commenting on his appointment at managedaccounts.com.au, CEO, David Heather, said Nejasmic brings "unmatched understanding of what advisers need to perform across every aspect of their business."
