BTFG investment head takes on new role

Viridian Advisory has confirmed the appointment of Piers Bolger as the firm's new chief investment officer.

Bolger joins Viridian after seven years at BT Financial Group (BTFG), where he was most recently head of diversified portfolio management and before that was BTFG's senior manager of research and product.

Prior to BTFG, Bolger worked at UBS Asset Management where he managed the firm's Australian equity portfolio and research and investments divisions.

Commenting on his new role, Bolger told Industry Moves: "I look forward in working in such a progressive and dynamic business that seeks to deliver high quality outcomes to meet the needs of our clients."
