Former Australian Ethical CEO joins MTAA board

MTAA Super has appointed Anne O'Donnell as an independent director, effective 1 March 2017.

O'Donnell previously spent nine years as the CEO of Australian Ethical Investments and 20 years with the ANZ Banking Group.

She is currently chair of the CPS Credit Union (Beyond Bank) and a director of Equity Trustees Ltd, Eastwoods Wealth Management and the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust. She is also a member of the compliance committee of UBS Global Asset Management (Australia) Ltd and chair of the audit committee of IP Australia.

She replaced Vicki Allen, who joined the board in 2011 as an independent director.

Commenting on her appointment, MTAA Super's CEO, Leeanne Turner, said: "MTAA Super was very pleased to appoint Anne following a comprehensive process that attracted a large field of highly skilled and qualified candidates."
