Former ANZ Private Bank director joins JANA

Investment consulting firm JANA has announced it has made several appointments, including that of Laura Purbrick as a senior consultant.

In this role, Purbrick is responsible for consulting to a range of advisory clients in the superannuation sector. She is actively involved in setting investment strategies, providing asset allocation and investment manager advice and providing investment input on a myriad of other investment matters, JANA said.

Purbrick has over 15 years' experience in financial markets, most recently as director of the Private Advisory Group Victoria at ANZ Private Bank, where she advised family office clients with regards to portfolio construction and asset allocation advice. Previously she worked for Morgan Stanley, and started her career as an investment adviser at Macquarie Bank.

Purbrick and her fellow JANA appointees have contributed to the firm exceeding its 100 headcount milestone, effective July 2019. To read more, including the comprehensive list of appointees, click here.
