Former Antares Equities distribution head joins Wingate AM

Wingate Asset Management (Wingate AM) has announced the appointment of Duncan Knight as the firm's new national head of key accounts, based in Melbourne.

Knight was previously head of distribution, investment specialist with Antares Equities, and spent the earlier part of his career in senior research and consulting roles with Lonsec, Towers Watson and Mercer.

He is joined at Wingate AM by fellow new appointee, and former new business manager at BT Financial, Jeannie Bredberg.

Commenting on both appointments, Wingate AM CEO Jamie Mead said: "These newly created roles are reflective of the increasing demand for the Wingate Global Equity Fund and our continued commitment to provide first class relationship management and support to our valued investment partners. Duncan and Jeannie are both recognised as industry experts in their respective specialities and bring complementary multi-decade experience to the Wingate Asset Management team."
