SuperFriend, a not-for-profit foundation focused on creating mentally healthy workplaces, partnering with superannuation funds and group life insurers, has announced the departure of James Thomas from its board, effective December 2017.

Thomas joined the SuperFriend board in November 2016 and leaves following his retirement from the role of CEO with AMIST.

SuperFriend has also announced that REST CEO Damian Hill will hand over the reins as chair to Cbus CEO, David Atkin, effective immediately, and that Teifi Whatley, a founding director, will take on the role of deputy chair.

A replacement for Thomas will be named in due course.
