Former Acadian Head of Investment takes on CIO role at RF Empirica

RF Capital has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of David Walsh to the newly-created role of chief investment officer for RF Empirica, the systematic hedge fund capability of RF Capital, effective June 2017.

Walsh, who has over 24 years' experience in the finance sector, was previously the head of investments, Australia, at Acadian Australia. Prior to this he held senior roles at State Street Global Advisors and BGI/BlackRock.
