First Super appoints regional businesswoman to board

First Super has appointed Robyn Burns to its board, effective 1 July 2019, as an employer representative director.

Burns is as a senior executive at Borg Manufacturing, where she has "overseen the expansion of Borg as it has developed into one of the principal employers on the NSW Central Coast and a major national building products manufacturer," First Super said.

Of her appointment to First Super, CEO Bill Watson added: "Robyn has been centrally involved in creating a thriving business that employs many hundreds of Australians. We look forward to her strong contribution at a trustee director level with First Super and welcome the further renewal of our board."

Burns succeeds board veteran Allan Stewart who departed the fund on 30 June 2019.
