First State Super appoints Head of Insurance

First State Super has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of David Evans as head of insurance, effective 26 March 2018.

Evans has previous experience in both executive and senior positions within the financial services and banking industries, with a focus on life insurance and superannuation.

Most recently, he was head of corporate insurance at AMP, a role he left in May 2017. Prior to this, he held various roles with Accenture, MLC, and National Australia Bank.

At First State Super he has replaced Sarina Aarons who resigned from the Sydney based fund to relocate to Queensland.
