First Sentier promotes two sales staffers

First Sentier Investors has elevated two of its institutional sales staffers to more senior roles.

First up, senior business development manager Dylan Mitchell will take on a wider role, covering Australia and New Zealand.

Mitchell reports to Kevin Kandasamy who is head of institutional sales for Australia.

He started with First Sentier three years ago as an institutional business development manager supporting the asset manager's efforts throughout the country's southern states.

He arrived from Dimensional Fund Advisors, where he spent five years working in the same role with the institutional team there.

Mitchell started his financial services career as an analyst with the Business Development Bank of Canada in Montreal.

He earlier worked at Mesh Marketing as a brand ambassador and sales rep and Criterion Industries as a consultant.

Meantime, Brodie Paape has also taken up a new role at the financial services giant.

He has moved from relationship manager to head of consultant relations for Australia and New Zealand.

Paape joined First Sentier as a senior research relationship manager in late 2022.

He landed from Challenger Ltd, where he managed the research house relationships for the suite of investment teams and products under the Fidante Partners banner for three years.

Before that, he worked at UniSuper as an investment analyst, covering portfolio analysis and implementation for about three years.
