Fidelity strengthens its Australian institutional sales team

Fidelity has boosted its institutional sales team by appointing Tim Connolly as senior executive institutional business. Connolly has 17 years' industry experience and has specialised in institutional sales at three firms since 2007.

He started serving institutional clients while at Fidelity in Sydney between 2005 and 2009 before moving to local boutique Tyndall (now Nikko) for two years. His most recent role was with Ambassador Funds Management Services, a third-party marketing, sales and client-service firm.

Connolly reports to Warwick Boys, the Sydney-based head of institutional business for Fidelity in Australia. The pair will work with Alva De Voy, Fidelity's Sydney-based investment director, to help clients build effective portfolios across Australian and global equities and fixed income.
