Fidelity appoints Head of Product Development - Asia

Doug Walls has joined Fidelity International as head of product development for Asia, as part of a drive by Fidelity to expand its product suite for clients in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan.

In the new role, based in Hong Kong, Walls will oversee all Asian product teams and will report to Paolo Federici, Fidelity's global head of product.

Walls has over 15 years' experience in product development within asset management. He joins Fidelity following a career with BlackRock where he was head of product strategy and innovation, Asia Pacific and Australia, based in Sydney. Prior to this, he was head of product development at Barclays Global Investors in Australia where he spent a decade focusing on product initiatives and innovation and client management.
