Ex-OnePath business head joins CoreLogic

CoreLogic has appointed Milena Malev as their new GM of banking and finance solutions for the Australiasian region.

A spokesperson for CoreLogic says that Malev "will bring a new perspective to financial services clients as they navigate an evolving landscape of digital disruption and business transformation."

Malev joins CoreLogic from ANZ, where she spent more than eight years in a variety of roles, including as head of retirement solutions and head of general and consumer credit insurance. This included OnePath General Insurance and ANZ's various consumer insurance products.

Before joining ANZ, Malev was a project director for Westpac, working on credit risk, reporting, and operations. She focused on Basel II accreditation following the Westpac and St George merger, and implemented an instant credit decision platform for Westpac's unsecured lending.

Data and analytics form a significant portion of Malev's background. She says seeing it evolve has been fascinating. "We have seen an immense transformation across banking in recent years. Having spent more than 20 years at the forefront of this change, I look forward to bringing new perspectives to my immediate role and the broader CoreLogic teams to help provide differentiating solutions to clients.

As GM, Malev will leverage CoreLogic's Australasian banking and finance solutions, supporting clients with the capabilities and solutions to navigate through sector challenges.
