Evans & Partners names head of distribution for international equity fund

Charlie Wapshott has joined Evans & Partners as head of distribution for the international equity fund. He joins after a short stint as director at Cambridge Investment Partners.

In his new role, Wapshott will develop a national distribution strategy and build a team to grow the company's international equity strategy.

"We are very pleased that we have been able to bring Charlie back to Evans & Partners in this key role," said Bob Desmond, Evans & Partners head of international equities. "Over the past 10 years, Charlie has acquired a range of technical abilities from leading global asset management companies, including Walsh & Co. and Australian Unity Investments. He has also held business development roles in the UK at Morningstar and Financial Express."

Wapshott says he's excited to take on the new strategy role. "The investment team has done a sterling job in terms of performance and client service in volatile markets and I'll be capitalising on their hard work over the next few years," he said.
