Evans Dixon appoints former Macquarie chair as director

Evans Dixon has named former Macquarie Group chair and Member of the Order of Australia, Kevin McCann, to their board as a non-executive director.

McCann has also held board positions with Origin Energy, Healthscope, ING Management, and Citadel Group. He is currently the chair of Telix Pharmaceuticals.

McCann was a practicing lawyer, focusing on commercial law as a partner of Allens Arthur Robinson. He was chairman of partners from 1995-2004.

David Evans, executive chair of Evans Dixon, said that he is pleased that a person of McCann's calibre has agreed to join their board. "Mr McCann will complement the existing Directors' experience and skills very well."

Evans Dixon operates several brands, including Evans & Partners, Dixon Advisory, E&P, and Walsh & Company brands.
