FUTURE SUPER FUND
Date: December 2020
Position: Member, Investment Committee

Future Super has appointed Ethical Investment Advisers' Karen McLeod to its investment committee.

The ethical fund announced several appointments today to its legal, risk, and investments teams. Australian Unity's former executive general manager of investments, Geraldine Barlow-Bolt, is joining McLeod on the committee.

McLeod, a Certified Financial Planner and member of the RIAA board, has been with Ethical Investment Advisers since 2009 as an adviser and practice principal.

Future Super chief Simon Sheikh says that the fund's growth - membership has more than doubled this year - necessitated some changes. "We're bringing in the right people to grow Australia's retirement savings to create a future free from climate change and inequality. Building a world-class team is a key enabler of our growth."

McLeod's time on the committee began in October.
