ESSSuper appoints GM Member Strategy

ESSSuper has announced the promotion of Duncan Winton to its executive team in the new role of general manager member strategy.

Winton steps into the role after two years as manager commercial and performance at the $29 billion fund.

For the past 20 years, Winton has worked across a variety of industries, for companies including ESG, ANZ Bank, Superpartners and CSC. His background includes superannuation, commercial management, business transformation and accounting.

Commenting on his promotion, Winton said: "I'm excited to be able to support [ESSSuper] in achieving clear strategic priorities as we head into a new phase of growth."

ESSSuper has also announced the appointment of Ian Lancaster, who is stepping into the new role of general manager trustee services, effective 1 July 2019.

The fund said that welcoming the two new executives "represents a significant strategic step forward" as it "focuses on continuing to provide high member satisfaction well into the future."
