Equity Trustees names new Senior Manager

Equity Trustees has appointed Alan O'Brien as a senior manager of relationships and oversight in the corporate trustee services (CTS) Melbourne team. In the new role, he will be responsible for working with the firm's responsible entity clients.

Commenting on the appointment, Harvey Kalman, executive GM of the CTS team, said: "Mr O'Brien brings a great mix of international perspective and local experience, which is particularly important with the introduction of Attribution Managed Investment Trusts (AMITs) and Collective Investment Vehicles (CIVs) in the Australian context, and the opportunities they present to our Australian and global clients."

O'Brien previously worked at Equity Trustees as a relationship manager from 2000 to 2003. Since then he has worked at J.P. Morgan, BNY Mellon and the Irish Stock Exchange while abroad and at ANZ and NAB in Melbourne.
