Equity Trustees appoints US representative
Equity Trustees has announced the appointment of Robert Harrison as its US representative.
According to the firm, Harrison will "connect US-based fund managers with Equity Trustees’ expertise in offices in Australia and [the] UK to service funds launching into the European, UK, Australian and Asia-Pacific markets."
Harrison, who is based in New York, was most recently the regional head of North America at BNP Paribas Investment Partners (BNPPIP) and president and CEO at Fischer Francis Trees and Watts, a BNPPIP partner. Before this, his roles included: CEO of BNPPIP Australia; head of business development at Westpac Investment Management, Sydney; vice president of Bankers Trust, Sydney and New York; and vice president of Saudi International Bank, New York.
Harvey Kalman, Equity Trustees' executive GM of corporate trustee and fund services, said Harrison is an "exceptional resource to link US-based funds managers with global opportunities" and that his appointment is part of the firm's "global strategy to service fund managers no matter where they are in the world.”
