Easton Investment director and former chair, Rodney Green, will step down from the board as an independent, non-executive director in the coming months.

Green was formerly the chief investments officer for Perpetual Limited and is on the investments committee at Sunsuper. He also served as managing director of Treasury Group.

Green joined the Easton board in 2012.

The company also announced that managing director Greg Hayes would be stepping down in a few months as well.

In a statement, the company said that Green has "made a tremendous contribution to Easton, which the Board believes has exciting prospects due to their effort, commitment and insight. The Board is mindful of the need for continual renewal and Rodney's decision will facilitate this process."

Easton will be engaging a firm to identify candidates for both the managing director and independent director roles.
