Director appointed to CareSuper Board

CareSuper has announced the appointment of Claire Keating to its board as an employer representative, effective January 2017.

Keating is a director of multiple financial organisations and is currently the chair of Finance, Investment and Infrastructure at Yooralla, an Australian non-profit disability service.

From 2002 to 2016, Keating was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where she held senior management roles in assurance and as the lead on numerous consulting assignments. Prior to this, she served as a member representative on the board of PwC's Superannuation Fund from 1998 to 2002.

Commenting on her appointment to the CareSuper board, chair, Cate Wood, said: "Claire Keating's extensive knowledge has been developed over 25 years working in superannuation and funds management...we are confident that Claire will make a dynamic and valuable addition to the Board's structure."

Keating succeeds David Michaelis, who stepped down from the board in December 2016.
