Deputy Chair named for Deloitte

Deloitte Australia has announced the appointment of Peter Bars as deputy chair, effective 2 May 2017.

Bars has been a member of the Deloitte Board for seven years and leads the firm's technology practice in Australia and the Asia Pacific. He also sits on the Global Technology Consulting Executive and has more than 20 years' information systems consulting and project experience in Australia, Asia, US and Europe.

He joins newly-appointed chair Tom Imbesi, who has been a Deloitte partner for 19 years and Victorian managing partner for the last two years.
