NGS Super has announced the appointment of Ben Facer to the newly-created role of chief risk and governance officer, effective September 2017.
Facer will join the $7 billion fund from Deloitte, where he is currently a partner in the consulting division of the firm. In this role, Facer provides advisory services to superannuation funds and service providers such as administrators and insurers, and specialises in risk and regulatory advice.
Commenting on his appointment at NGS Super, CEO, Anthony Rodwell-Ball, said: "Ben is highly respected in the superannuation industry and we were incredibly impressed by his track record in consulting to a wide range of industry clients and his intricate knowledge of the super space from a risk and governance perspective."
