Decimal names new Chair

Decimal Software has appointed Mark Potts as the company's new non-executive chair, effective immediately.

Potts is vice president and chief technology officer for corporate strategy with Hewlett-Packard Enterprise and previously worked with Ajilon, Growth Equities Mutual and Sealcorp, as well as having founded a number of start-ups.

Commenting on the appointment, Decimal CEO Nic Pollock said: "The timing of Mark's appointment fits perfectly with our strategic growth plans. Mark has the global enterprise technology market skills we were looking for, and as a bonus, experience in the financial services market."

He replaces Robert Kirtlan, who served as chair of Decimal and its predecessor Aviva Corporation.
