Position: CEO

Fourth Line, a risk management and regtech solution for dealer groups, has promoted their acting COO to the chief executive position.

David Travers joined the organisation on a contract in June of 2019. Fourth Line chair Tony McDonald told Financial Standard that Travers' consultation work made him a clear fit for the role. "David is the outstanding choice to lead Fourth Line. He has a clear vision for Fourth Line's future, a deep understanding of Australia and New Zealand's financial services industry and our organisation, as well as high regard and confidence from his colleagues and clients."

Fourth Line provides a tech solution for reporting, risk management, and record-keeping.

McDonald says that it was Travers' vision for the future of the organisation that made up the board's mind. "He embraces an innovation mindset, builds on our customer-centric culture and development of a strong and diverse team. The board is confident in his ability and drive to achieve results and deliver for both our customers and shareholders," McDonald said.

Travers joined Fourth Line from RBC I&TS where he spent more than 10 years, the last five as managing director.

Prior to 2009, Travers was senior vice president and managing director of State Street Australia.
