Data chief for First Sentier has banking experience

Former GM of data at Cover-More, a travel insurance retailer, Justin Hourigan has joined global investment manager First Sentier Investors (formerly Colonial First State Global Asset Management) as the global data head.

Before his time with Cover-More, Hourigan was a data analytics manager for CBA.

First Sentier Investors Chief Executive Officer Mark Steinberg said the appointments signal the business is establishing stronger foundations to support growth globally. "It is really exciting to welcome such a strong calibre of talent to the business. Each of these appointments will play an integral role in supporting the continued development of our global asset management business," Mr Steinberg said.
