Crowe Horwath, part of Findex, has announced the recent appointment of Amelia Hartney as associate partner, performance consulting.

Based in Albury, Hartney is responsible for bolstering the firm's consultancy offering and will act as a mentor and leadership coach to Crowe Horwath's regional small business clients nationally. She will also work closely with businesses to help them gain government support via Federal and State-based funding programs.

Hartney joins from KPMG, where she has spent the last ten years as an associate director. During this time, she worked across several areas of the firm, most recently as program leader for Access Asia, a specialist group helping Australian companies plan and execute international operational strategies.

She is also a board member for youth not-for-profit NESAY, and is a strategy advisor with the Children First Foundation.

Commenting on her appointment at Crowe Horwath, Hartney said: "This is a very exciting moment in my career. I am proud to be a professional living and working in regional Australia with a strong national and global focus."
