Cross appointed to Future Fund board

The Morrison Government has announced the appointment of Patricia Cross to the Future Fund Board of Governors.

Cross has held numerous board positions in recent years including presently with the Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation and Aviva. She previously sat on the board of the Macquarie Group where she chaired the risk committee and has been a director with NAB, Qantas, AMP, and the Grattan Institute. She was also a founding board member of Suncorp.

During her executive career, Cross spent time with NAB's wholesale and institutional bank and was a vice president and director of Chase Manhattan Bank and Chase Investment Bank across New York, Helsinki, and London.

Cross has been appointed to a five-year term along with Michael Wachtel, who has had his term extended by an additional four years.
