Crestone Wealth appoints Independent Director
Crestone Wealth Management (Crestone) has announced the appointment of Peter Hawkins as an independent board director, effective September 2017.
Hawkins' career in the banking and financial services industry has spanned over 40 years, including a 34 year stretch with ANZ Banking Group, where he held various senior executive and directorship roles, including group managing director of group strategic development. In this role, Hawkins oversaw the expansion and reshaping of ANZ's businesses.
He was also previously a director of BHP Steel (NZ), ING Australia, Esanda Finance Corporation, Visa Inc, Murray Goulburn Co-operative Co. and the responsible entity for ASX listed MG Unit Trust.
Currently, Hawkins serves on the boards of Westpac Banking Corporation (WBC) and is chair of the technology committee for the WBC board. He also serves on the boards of Mirvac Group and Liberty Financial.
