Credit specialist appoints Parlevliet to board
Credit specialist, La Trobe Financial Asset Management, has announced the appointment of Gerard Parlevliet to its board, effective 8 September 2017.
Based in Sydney, he will assist the firm in expanding its footprint in the investment sector.
Parlevliet has 38 years' experience in financial services, including 25 years in superannuation. He spent 12 years as general manager of the Commonwealth Bank Officers' Superannuation Fund (Commonwealth Bank Group Super), followed by seven years as its chief investment officer. Currently, he is an independent director at $3.5 billion fund, Prime Super.
Commenting on his appointment at La Trobe, president & CEO, Greg O'Neill, said: "Parlevliet's extensive experience will prove invaluable and will assist us to meet the challenges and opportunities of growing our business in the years ahead.
