Contango announces new Head of Marketing & Communications

Contango Asset Management has confirmed to Industry Moves the appointment of Lisa Barp as head of marketing & communications, effective August 2017.

Barp has more than 20 years' experience creating and implementing national and international marketing strategies.

Prior to joining Contango, she spent two years consulting to and advising start-up and small business on integrated marketing strategies. Previously, she held the role of executive general manager, marketing & communications at Equity Trustees, and spent 10 years in senior marketing, regional and head roles in the UK, Asia and Australia for UBS Wealth Management.

Commenting on her appointment at Contango, managing director and chief investment officer, George Boubouras, said: "Securing a marketer of Lisa's calibre is a coup for Contango.
