Colonial First State has hired a new product strategy executive to work with the managed accounts team.
Daryn Lu joins as a senior manager from MLC Asset Management, where he most recently served as an investment consultant.
Before his almost eight years at MLC, Lu worked at Macquarie Group.
By the time he finished there, he had earned the title of executive of the firm's investment management arm.
Lu did a six-year stint at Macquarie, coming on board as a senior associate at the managed funds business in 2010 before being promoted to senior associate of structured investment solutions 18 months later.
He started his career at ING as an insurance analyst.
