Clearbridge strengthens local team

ClearBridge Investments has hired Devin O'Keefe as business development manager to lead the intermediary sales team in Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania.

The US$176 billion fund manager owned by Franklin Templeton Investments has tasked O'Keefe with distributing its globally listed infrastructure strategies as well as its yet-to-be-launched Global Growth and Global Value Improvers funds.

Before joining ClearBridge, O'Keefe worked for Australian Ethical Investments as an advisor relationships manager in the southern states, where he focused on raising capital for sustainable investment opportunities.

He also trained colleagues and clients on the benefits of ESG and responsible investing.

Previous roles include as a business development manager at Octopus Investments Australia and a private wealth advisor at KRA Wealth Management.

O'Keefe stated that financial advisers continue to hunt for high-quality global equity and listed infrastructure opportunities for their clients.

" I'm looking forward to working with the industry to meet these needs," he said.

ClearBridge Investments aims to deliver strong absolute returns over an investment cycle.
