Class appoints Strategic Alliances Director

SMSF administration software provider, Class, has announced the appointment of Glenn Poynton as strategic alliances director, responsible for establishing and developing the firm's strategic partner relationships.

Poynton, who has held a number of senior strategic roles in the wealth management industry in both Australia and Europe, previously spent over 15 years with Macquarie Group where his roles included division director of wealth product strategy for Macquarie Wealth Product and Platforms. Prior to joining Class in March 2018, he was a strategic business consultant.

Commenting on his appointment, Class CEO, Kevin Bungard, said: "We're thrilled that someone of Glenn's calibre is joining the Class team. Glenn will play a pivotal role as we build out our partner ecosystem, improve our API capabilities, boost partner revenues and deliver enhanced benefits to our customers."
